Healthy Vision Month Toolkit

Approximately 37 million adults in America have age-related macular degeneration, cataract, diabetic retinopathy, or glaucoma, all of which can cause visual impairment or blindness1. Making healthy choices and getting regular eye exams can help reduce a person’s risk of vision loss.

In support of Healthy Vision Month in May, Versant Health is sharing some helpful resources to empower you to take charge of your eye health and preserve your eyesight.

If your vision diminished, what would your world look like? Our Vision  Simulator lets viewers see through the eyes of someone affected by glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, presbyopia, glare, or macular degeneration. Experience the impact these common conditions have on sight, and consider: How would your daily activities be impacted by reduced vision? What moments would you lose? Whose faces would you miss?
