BALTIMORE, MD, February 13, 2019 – Versant Health, a leading national managed eye health and vision plan company, is proud to announce that its manufacturing facility outside of Philadelphia was featured on an episode of PCN Tours.
PCN Tours is a one-hour cable show that features businesses located in Pennsylvania, and highlights how a variety of products are created from start to finish. The Versant Health tour was led by Jobany (Gio) Garces, Manufacturing Lab Director, giving viewers a behind-the-scenes look at how their lenses go from a prescription from their eye doctor to the finished product.

The Versant Health facility is one of three in the United States that has earned the ISO certification for the processing of eyeglass lenses and the finished eyeglasses. It is a three-year certification and acknowledges the quality management system standards and requirements of the Versant Health facility, which manufacturers more than 110,000 pairs of glasses a month and over 1.3 million a year.
