Our mission is to help members enjoy the wonders of sight through healthy eyes and vision. Our purpose is to help people see everything so they can become anything they set their sights on–in their personal lives, in their communities, and in the world.

Through our routine vision care products, one of every 10 Americans now has access to quality care through a diverse network of eye care professionals, including independent vision care locations, and leading retail optical chains.

In addition to routine wellness, our unified effort provides utilization management and medical claims review, leading to increased savings, a seamless experience, and more effective and appropriate care. We leverage more than 25 years of providing vision medical management to guide our customers to the best solution for them, whether they are individuals, brokers, third party health plans, or eye care professionals.

While the majority of our staff is working from home and staying safe, we continue to investin technologies, in training, and in new ways to improve outcomes—because we want every American to have access to quality, affordable vision care. Did you know that more than 2 million children in the United States do not have the glasses they need to see a chalkboard, read a book, or participate in class?

Our mission to provide healthy eyes and vision extends beyond our members, customers, and associates and into the communities we serve.

Vision To Learn

Vision To Learn, a non-profit that provides free eye exams and glasses to children in low-income areas, is one of our partner organizations. Through our engagement, we have assisted with on-location school exams and raised more than $100,000 from associate donations.​
